Cream butter and sugar
Mix all dry ingredients together, then add to butter mixture
add milk. add more milk as needed if batter is too hard to mix, it should be easy to make balls, and not too sticky and messy that you can't roll it in your hands.
Add chocolate chips. Mix till you can form a ball that stays together, but not too wet. Transfer balls to lined cookie sheet and press them down. They don't spread much, so they will pretty much stay the shape you make them.
Bake at 350F for 12-15 minutes. Watch your first batch as ovens vary. Put on your timer, so you don't burn these little gems. They are lightly browned on the bottom.
transfer to cooling rack for 10 minutes to cool. Enjoy!
